Safaris can be a great experience. Despite some travel experience and safaris elsewhere our safari through the northern national parks of Tanzania impressed us especially. In this blog article we share with you what a safari in Tanzania is like, what a game drive is and how we spent the first day of our safari in Lake Manyara National Park and the night in tents.
We have travelled to different countries and seen a fascinating variety of animals. Also, from zoos one knows a part of the African fauna. We were even more surprised by the great experiences we had during our safari. In the following three articles we share with you in detail our safari experience through the national parks Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire.
We discover the endless vastness of the Serengeti National Park
Our safari continued as varied as it had begun. In this article you will find out what the Serengeti has to offer and why the trip is more than worthwhile despite the rainy season. Besides countless wildebeests and zebras we saw dozens of lions and several hyenas. We finally spent the night in a tented camp in the central Serengeti, surrounded by wildlife.
Ngorongoro and Tarangire National Park and a breathtaking experience
So far, we had spent a unique time on safari. The last two days of our safari were great once again, also because at the end of our stay in the Serengeti we went up high and show you the Serengeti during our hot air balloon ride from above! You’ll also learn what the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park have to offer!
